Pago Pago, American Samoa… it’s not a state, but it is a U.S. Territory

Flat Stanley and Flat Hal had a full day in Pago Pago.

First stop was the Visitors Bureau, a great place to get a map and some local information.  It was there we saw this plaque explaining how long the island has been a U.S. Territory.  (https://www.americansamoa.travel/)

The National Park of American Samoa is part of the United States National Park system… which is really interesting for a place that is 7,000 miles from Washington D.C. and over 2,500 miles from Honolulu, Hawaii.

The Flat fellas collected more stamps for their tourist passports at the Visitor Center for the park, and had a lot of fun learning and taking pictures.
