One of the fun things about a trip like we are currently on is getting to collect certificates that serve as keepsakes to remind us of doing something special and momentous. Flat Hal and I had never been through the Panama Canal before? Had Flat Stanley?
Several friends we are traveling with had been through the canal before, but, like us, had never sailed south along the coast of central and South America.
For us this is new territory.
Everything we see is a new sight, the discoveries new & fantastic… our stays in most of the ports may feel too short, but they are plenty long to get a taste, and take note of the places we hope to return to someday.
