Another day at sea — do you know where we are sailing towards?

There are several places a cruise ship can go to from San Diego, can you think of some of the possibilities?

We could be heading North.

We could be sailing South… or even going on a cruise through a Canal.

After catching the end of a pretty sunset tonight Flat Stanley, Flat Hal and I went and explored the ship for a little while.  Cruise ships have lots of interesting places to find, and things to see.

This is a BIG piece of art on display in one of the staircases.

And this is a little spot in one of the corridors where someone can pause for a moment and talk with a friend.

Have you thought some more about where the Flat fellas and I might be going?  Here’s a hint:  from San Diego, we sailed West.

What are some places west of San Diego we might go?

How long do you think we will spend at sea before stopping for the first time?

When we stop, it is called ‘making a port call’.

When a cruise ship stops at a port during its voyage, it’s called making a port call. A port of call is a temporary stop where passengers can disembark to explore the port city and nearby attractions. Cruise ships typically stay at a port for a few hours before continuing their journey.
