Flat Stanley and Flat Hal have tried to help me identify the birds we saw in Nuku Hiva. We did not have a great angle to photograph some from. At other times there simply was not a chance to pull out the better camera with a powerful optical zoom lens before the bird was in motion. As a result we are getting multiple possibilities on some of these birds… do you think you can help?
