Flat Hal started his day at the Doctor’s office where he discovered the Doctor didn’t know about Flat Stanley… but the phlebotomist did!
She and Flat Stanley go way back! She was talking about penpals, surprises in the mail… a highlight from school she remembers!
Yup, phlebotomist. Now there is a nice, big, fancy word for the amazing people who draw our blood so we can get back a nice piece of paper saying we’re healthy, and fit to travel… even if we are a bit thinner than 99% of our age group…
Next it was time to make sure Flat Hal’s clothes were ready for our trip. (Hint: I’ve been looking over his shoulders and think he might want to pack shorts for where we’re going… Hal keeps looking at the calendar and pointing out it will practically be Thanksgiving when we get back.)
