Flat Stanley and Flat Hal are good sports about respecting the personal space of wild animals, even when we wish we could get closer for better photo opportunities. The birds in Fiji seemed to master the art of blending in with the trees, and staying well away from the sun and heat, but a few of the birds in Tonga came out, and took a rest from flying long enough for us to try and capture some shots.
The Red Vented Bulbul, Welcome Swallow, and the Pacific Plover are the ones we think we identified. You may recall the Pacific Plover from Hawaii, and the Red Vented Bulbul from Fiji. Birds love to travel almost as much as the flat fellas!
